Abstract Submission Guidelines
  • Abstracts should be submitted by online in English.
  • Authors may further edit and modify submitted abstracts by the submission deadline.
  • The author submitting the abstract is the corresponding author. The corresponding author¡¯s contact details must be clearly given.
  ¡Ý Submitting the abstract implies the following agreement of authors:
 
  • All abstracts will be assessed by the scientific program committee and assigned to the appropriate session for oral or poster presentations.
  • Publishing abstract in the First Korea-Japan Meeting of Neurorehabilitation abstract book.
  • All presenting authors of accepted abstracts should attend the conference and register.
 
Abstract Format
  A. Abstracts must be written and presented in English.
  B.
Title: Use a concise title that indicates the content of the abstract. The complete title should be capitalized and should not exceed 50 words. Refrain from using abbreviations in the title.
Authors: Names and surnames for each author must be provided. Presenting authors¡¯ names will be underlined and corresponding authors¡¯ name will be in bold.
Affiliations: Each author should be listed by department, institution and country.
Text: All abstracts submitted for research studies must be structured to summarize the research Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusion. The purpose should contain the background and purpose of the study. The methods section should explain procedures, interventions, and any controls in the study. This allows the reader to infer limitations of the data. Abstracts containing statements such as "data to be presented" or "the significance of the findings will be discussed" are not acceptable. The conclusions should explain the meaning and importance of the results, and perhaps state any new question identified. Abstracts for Case Reports must be structured in the following four categories: Case Diagnosis, Case Description, Discussion, and Conclusions.
 
Acceptance Notification
  • The abstract acceptance will be notified by email.
  • The decision of the scientific committee on the acceptability of the abstract is final. While preferences for oral or poster presentations will be considered, the committee may offer the alternative format.
 
Abstract Presentation
  • All presenting authors must register as participants.
  • The decision of the Scientific Committee on the acceptability of the abstract is final. While preferences for oral or poster presentations will be considered, the committee may offer the alternative format. No correspondence on their decision can be initiated by the authors.
 
Oral Presentation
  • All presentations should be presented in electronic version using the MS power point 2003 format, which is only allowed for Microsoft Windows version (not allowed for Machintoshi version) with the use of microbeam projectors. If the use of a slide projector is mandatory, please notify the secretary office beforehand. For real time media presentation, the presenting file should be prepared in a form that is compatible with MS media player. Notebooks will be prepared by the organizing committee.
  • All the abstract presenters will be required to bring the presentation in the electronic format to the Preview Room so that the presentation will be uploaded to the appropriate meeting room on time. This will help you have a successful presentation without any delay.
 
Poster Presentation
  • The abstracts scheduled for the presentation during the poster sessions are grouped by topic, numbered and listed in final the program, and published in the abstract book.
  • The poster-board surface for each presenter will be 250 cm high and 90 cm wide. Posters prepared by presenters should fit within the allotted space.
  • Posters should be readable by viewers one meter away. The poster title, author(s)'s name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear at the top. The message should be clear and understandable without oral explanation. Contents should be in the order of abstract objectives, methods, results and conclusion. Each poster should be placed on the numbered board assigned to each presenter.
  • All presenters should be present in front of their poster during the poster session and ready to take questions.
¡Ø The organizers will not be held liable for any posters lost or damaged.
 
General Terms
  • Abstracts for the 1st Korea-Japan NeuroRehabilitation Conference must be submitted online on the Academic Society Homepage.
  • Please, save your id and password that you use for abstract submission as you will be required to modify your abstract.

Procedure for abstract submission
  1. Click on the "Abstract Submission" button to submit your abstract.
  2. Read the instructions carefully and Verify your personal information before submission and make changes if necessary.
  3. Enter your abstract according to the instructions.
  4. Once you complete your abstract submission, you must check that you agree with the copyright policy and click ¡®next¡¯.
  5. Review the uploaded abstract and click ¡®confirm¡¯. If you wish to modify your abstract, click ¡®modify¡¯ to repeat this procedure.
